Aptivus Side Effects Report #5528448-2
Aptivus side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Nov 21, 2007. Male patient, 49 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection , acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, epilepsy  and was treated with Aptivus. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: convulsion. Aptivus dosage: TIPRANAVIR/RITONAVIR 1000/400 MG. During the same period patient was treated with PHENOBARBITAL, ABACAVIR, DIDANOSINE, ENFUVIRTIDE. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 47 years of age, weighting 165.3 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection , epilepsy  and was treated with Aptivus. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: convulsion. Aptivus dosage: TPV/RTV: 500/100 MG B.I.D.. During the same period patient was treated with DEPAKENE, FUZEON, WELLVONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
