Aptivus and blood triglycerides increased Patient Reports February 12, 2012

Aptivus Side Effects Report #5061402-6
Aptivus side effect was reported by a Physician from on June 19, 2006. Male patient, weighting 163.1 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection , hypertension, diabetes mellitus and was treated with Aptivus. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood triglycerides increased, carotid artery stenosis, cerebrovascular accident, monoparesis, reversible ischaemic neurological deficit. Aptivus dosage: TIPRANAVIR 1000 MG/NORVIR 100 MG (RITONAVIR). During the same period patient was treated with TRIZIVIR, NORVASC, CAPTOHEXAL, GLUCOPHAGE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
