Aprotinin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on July 18, 2008. Female patient, 79 years of age, was diagnosed with coagulation time abnormal, bacteraemia and was treated with Aprotinin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aortic thrombosis, cardiac arrest , intracardiac thrombus, procedural complication, right ventricular failure. Aprotinin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NOVOSEVEN, PROTAMINE SULPHATE, PROTAMINE SULPHATE, AMPICILLIN, GENTAMICIN. Patient died.
