Male patient, 52 years of age, was diagnosed with mediastinal haemorrhage, post procedural haemorrhage and was treated with Aprotinin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, arteriosclerosis, colon gangrene, dialysis , hypoperfusion, hypotension, intestinal infarction, intestinal ischaemia, pneumatosis. Aprotinin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DESMOPRESSIN ACETATE, EPSILON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
