Health Professional from UNITED STATES reported Apokyn side effect on Sept 17, 2007. Female patient, weighting 135.0 lb, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease What is  parkinson's disease and was treated with Apokyn. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure increased, hypotension, pneumonia What is  pneumonia, pyrexia, urinary tract infection What is  urinary tract infection. Apokyn dosage: (0.3 ML SUBCUTANEOUS, (0.4 ML PRN SUBCUTANEOUS), (0.4 ML 1X/8 HOURS SUBCUTANEOUS). During the same period patient was treated with SINEMET, TIGAN, COMTAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 08/02/2007.
