Apokyn side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Jan 18, 2006. Male patient, 76 years of age, weighting 130.0 lb, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease  and was treated with Apokyn. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, cardiac disorder, chest pain , chest x-ray abnormal, dyspnoea, insomnia, pneumonia . Apokyn dosage: 2 MG; X1; SC. During the same period patient was treated with CARBIDOPA AND LEVODOPA, ROPINIROLE HYDROCHLORIDE, ENTACAPONE, VITAMIN E, ASCORBIC ACID, FOLIC ACID, VITAMINS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 71 years of age, weighting 192.0 lb, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease  and was treated with Apokyn. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: confusional state, depression , hallucination, insomnia, rhinorrhoea. Apokyn dosage: 3 MG QID; SC. During the same period patient was treated with STALEVO, SELEGILINE, MIRAPEX, PLAVIX, CRESTOR, DIOVAN, ASPIRIN. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aggression, anger, insomnia. Apokyn dosage: 0.2 MG ONCE SC. During the same period patient was treated with TIGAN, NAPROXEN, CARBO, CLONAZEPAM, CARBIDOPA AND LEVODOPA, PROZAC, COMTAN, AZILECT. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 52 years of age, weighting 180.0 lb, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease  and was treated with Apokyn. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: condition aggravated, dysgeusia, ear infection , insomnia, muscle spasms, nausea , somnolence. Apokyn dosage: 0.4 ML 2X/DAY SC. During the same period patient was treated with TIGAN, CARBIDOPA AND LEVODOPA, TRAZODONE. Patient recovered.
