Apokyn side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Jan 29, 2007. Male patient, 72 years of age, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease What is  parkinson's disease and was treated with Apokyn. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hypertension, mobility decreased, unresponsive to stimuli. Apokyn dosage: 0.2 ML ONCE SC. During the same period patient was treated with TERAZOSIN, TIGAN, STALEVO, CARBIDOPA AND LEVODOPA, NASAREL, FAMOTIDINE, QVAR, REQUIP. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hypertension. Apokyn dosage: 2.4 MG;PRN;SC. During the same period patient was treated with PRAMIPEXOLE DIHYDROCHLORIDE, CARBIDOPA. Patient recovered.

Female patient, weighting 135.0 lb, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease What is  parkinson's disease and was treated with Apokyn. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hypertension, hypotension, pneumonia What is  pneumonia, refusal of treatment by patient, urinary tract infection What is  urinary tract infection. Apokyn dosage: (0.3 ML SUBCUTANEOUS), (0.4 ML PRN SUBCUTANEOUS), (0.4 ML 1X/8 HOURS SUBCUTANEOUS). During the same period patient was treated with SINEMET, TIGAN, COMTAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 08/03/2007.
