Apokyn side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Dec 12, 2006. Male patient, 84 years of age, weighting 180.0 lb, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease  and was treated with Apokyn. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, dizziness , hyperhidrosis. Apokyn dosage: 0.2 ML QDAY, SC. During the same period patient was treated with TIGAN, DIOVAN, COREG, DIGITEK, SINEMET, ZOCOR, PLE SUPPLEMENTS. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hyperhidrosis, injection site bruising, oedema peripheral. Apokyn dosage: ML 4 - 5X/DAY SC. During the same period patient was treated with BACLOFEN, TOPROL, RESTORIL, SINEMET, TIGAN, NEUROFEN, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, POTASSIUM ACETATE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hyperhidrosis, muscle rigidity, myocardial infarction, tremor. Apokyn dosage: 0.3 ML; QD; SC. During the same period patient was treated with CARBIDOPA AND LEVODOPA, ENTACAPONE, TRIMETHOBENZAMIDE, HYDROCHLORIDE, PERGOLIDE MESYLATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 06/23/2005.

Patient recovered.
