Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES reported Apokyn side effect on Dec 27, 2006. Male patient, 78 years of age, weighting 211.0 lb, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease  and was treated with Apokyn. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cough, nasopharyngitis, oedema peripheral, productive cough, wheezing. Apokyn dosage: 0.4 ML PRN; SC. During the same period patient was treated with FLOMAX, AVODART, TIGAN, STALEVO, PERGOLIDE MESYLATE, ALEVE, VICODIN. Patient recovered.

Health Professional from UNITED STATES reported Apokyn side effect on Jan 14, 2009. Male patient, 73 years of age, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease  and was treated with Apokyn. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthma , bronchitis , chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cough. Apokyn dosage: 0.1 ML QD SUBCUTANEOUS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
