Apokyn side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Jan 18, 2006. Male patient, 76 years of age, weighting 130.0 lb, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease  and was treated with Apokyn. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, cardiac disorder, chest pain , chest x-ray abnormal, dyspnoea, insomnia, pneumonia . Apokyn dosage: 2 MG; X1; SC. During the same period patient was treated with CARBIDOPA AND LEVODOPA, ROPINIROLE HYDROCHLORIDE, ENTACAPONE, VITAMIN E, ASCORBIC ACID, FOLIC ACID, VITAMINS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with CARBIDOPA AND LEVODOPA, ROPINIZOLE, HYDROCHLORIDE, ENTACAPONE, VITAMIN E, ASCORBIC ACID, FOLIC ACID, VITAMINS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure increased, chest pain , dyspnoea, feeling abnormal, flushing, headache . Apokyn dosage: 0.2 ML ONCE SC. During the same period patient was treated with CARBIDOPA AND LEVODOPA, CLONAZEPAM, NEURONTIN, ACIPHEX, MIRAPEX, COMTAN, DEMEROL. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 64 years of age, weighting 131.0 lb, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease  and was treated with Apokyn. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: burning sensation, chest pain , dyskinesia, flushing, hypotension, nausea , pallor, yawning. Apokyn dosage: 0.2 ML TO 0.3 ML, ONCE DAILY SUBCUTANEOUS. Patient recovered.
