Apixaban side effect was reported by a Health Professional from BRAZIL on Feb 12, 2009. Male patient, 73 years of age, weighting 178.6 lb, was diagnosed with thrombosis prophylaxis and was treated with Apixaban. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: ischaemic stroke. Apixaban dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with WARFARIN, ASPIRIN, CAPTOPRIL, ATENOLOL. Patient died on 01/13/2009.
