Antabuse side effect was reported by a Physician from TURKEY on July 18, 2007. Male patient, 34 years of age, was diagnosed with alcoholism What is  alcoholism and was treated with Antabuse. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alcohol intolerance, delusion, disturbance in attention, dyspnoea, flushing, hallucination, auditory, headache What is  headache, insomnia, logorrhoea. Antabuse dosage: 500 MG/DAY, ORAL, 1500 MG/DAY; ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ALCOHOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Antabuse side effect was reported by a Physician from TAIWAN, PROVINCE OF CHINA on Apr 16, 2008. Male patient, 38 years of age, was diagnosed with alcohol use and was treated with Antabuse. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abnormal behaviour, delusion, elevated mood, flight of ideas, insomnia, irritability, mania, poverty of speech, psychomotor hyperactivity. Antabuse dosage: 200 MG, QD; 200 MG, QOD. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
