Angiomax Side Effects Report #5062753-1
Angiomax side effect was reported by a Physician from ARGENTINA on July 11, 2006. Male patient, 75 years of age, weighting 167.6 lb, was diagnosed with percutaneous coronary intervention and was treated with Angiomax. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiogenic shock, coronary artery disease , gastrointestinal haemorrhage, haematocrit decreased, haemoglobin decreased, hypovolaemic shock, platelet count decreased, respiratory failure, urogenital haemorrhage. Angiomax dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with REOPRO. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, cardiac procedure complication, cardiogenic shock, coronary artery disease , gastrointestinal haemorrhage, haematocrit decreased, haemoglobin decreased, haemoptysis. Angiomax dosage: 57.7 MG, BOLUS, IV BOLUS; 0.6 MG, HR, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with ABCIXIMAB. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anuria, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, blood creatine phosphokinase mb increased, blood pressure decreased, cardiogenic shock, chest pain , disease recurrence, dyspnoea, hypotonia. Angiomax dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PANTOPRAZOLE, CEFUROXIME, CLOPIDOGREL, ASPIRIN, BISOCARD, ATORVASTATIN CALCIUM, CILAZAPRIL, FUROSEMIDE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arrhythmia , cardiogenic shock, coagulation time abnormal, coronary artery thrombosis, post procedural complication, supraventricular tachycardia, vomiting. Angiomax dosage: 61.5 MG + 140 MG, BOLUS, IV BOLUS. During the same period patient was treated with FENTANYL, MIDAZOLAM, LIDOCAINE, NITROGLYCERIN. Patient recovered.

Angiomax dosage: 61.5 MG, BOLUS, IV BOLUS; 28 ML, HR, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with ATROPINE, EPINEPHRINE, HEPARIN, INTEGRILIN, ASPIRIN, BETA BLOCKING AGENTS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
