Ancef side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Jan 31, 2007. Male patient, child 4 years of age, weighting 37.48 lb, was diagnosed with prophylaxis, procedural pain and was treated with Ancef. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cough, ill-defined disorder, infusion related reaction, intercostal retraction, pharyngolaryngeal discomfort, post procedural complication, stridor. Ancef dosage: 500 MG Q8 HOURS IV * 2 DOSES. During the same period patient was treated with TYLENOL W. Patient recovered.
