Ancaron Side Effects Report #4836439-X
Ancaron side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Nov 10, 2005. Male patient, 85 years of age, was diagnosed with ventricular tachycardia and was treated with Ancaron. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure, hepatic cirrhosis, hepatic failure, pleural effusion, renal failure, respiratory failure. Ancaron dosage: 200 MG 1X PER 1 DAY. During the same period patient was treated with LASIX, ALLOPURINOL, CARVEDILOL, HALCION, ISOSORBIDE DINITRATE, MINOCIN, LEVOFLOXACIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: brain natriuretic peptide increased, cardiac failure, cardiogenic shock, condition aggravated, haemodialysis, hepatic failure, renal failure, sepsis . Ancaron dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FAMOTIDINE, ALLOPURINOL, LASIX, ALDACTONE, WARFARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Ancaron dosage: 400 MG 1X PER 1 DAY ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with LASIX, ALDACTONE, DIOVAN, SIGMART, ISOSORBIDE DINITRATE, WARFARIN. Patient died.

Male patient, 74 years of age, was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation , prophylaxis and was treated with Ancaron. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, bradycardia, decreased appetite, hepatic failure, hyponatraemia, iron deficiency anaemia, pneumonia aspiration, respiratory failure. Ancaron dosage: 200 MG 1X PER 1 DAY; 100 MG 1 X PER 1 DAY; 50 MG 1X PER 1 DAY. During the same period patient was treated with ENCERON, LANSOPRAZOLE, WARFARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
