Ancaron Side Effects Report #4733462-0
Ancaron side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on July 26, 2005. Male patient, 61 years of age, was diagnosed with ventricular tachycardia and was treated with Ancaron. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood lactate dehydrogenase, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, blood urea increased, haematocrit decreased, haemoglobin decreased, interstitial lung disease, staphylococcal sepsis. Ancaron dosage: 100 MG 2X PER 1 DAY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with DIGOXIN, VERAPAMIL HYDROCHLORIDE, MEXITIL. Patient died.

Male patient, 61 years of age, was diagnosed with ventricular tachycardia and was treated with Ancaron. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, blood urea increased, c-reactive protein increased, haematocrit decreased, haemoglobin decreased, interstitial lung disease, staphylococcal sepsis, white blood cell count decreased. Ancaron dosage: 100 MG 2X PER 1 DAY ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with DIGOXIN, VASOLAN, MEXITIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Ancaron side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Dec 08, 2008. Male patient, weighting 136.7 lb, was diagnosed with ventricular tachycardia, gastric ulcer and was treated with Ancaron. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation What is  atrial fibrillation, bradycardia, c-reactive protein increased, haematocrit decreased, platelet count decreased, red blood cell count decreased, ventricular tachycardia, white blood cell count increased. Ancaron dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LIDOCAINE HYDROCHLORIDE, ASPIRIN, PANALDINE, TAKEPRON, ARTIST. Patient died on 07/30/2008.

Male patient, 40 years of age, was diagnosed with supraventricular tachycardia and was treated with Ancaron. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: haematocrit decreased, haemoglobin decreased, international normalised ratio decreased, platelet count decreased, pulmonary haemorrhage. Ancaron dosage: 200 MG 1X PER 1 DAY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with LASIX, ARTIST, ALDACTONE, LANSOPRAZOLE, WARFARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
