Ancaron side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Jan 31, 2006. Male patient, 71 years of age, was diagnosed with ventricular tachycardia and was treated with Ancaron. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acquired diaphragmatic eventration, alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood bilirubin increased, blood chloride decreased, blood chloride increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, blood pressure decreased. Ancaron dosage: 200 MG 1X PER 1 DAY ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with LASIX, COVERSYL, NORVASC, WARFARIN, PRAVASTATIN, HARNAL. Patient died.

Male patient, 61 years of age, was diagnosed with ventricular tachycardia and was treated with Ancaron. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood lactate dehydrogenase, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, blood urea increased, haematocrit decreased, haemoglobin decreased, interstitial lung disease, staphylococcal sepsis. Ancaron dosage: 100 MG 2X PER 1 DAY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with DIGOXIN, VERAPAMIL HYDROCHLORIDE, MEXITIL. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, blood urea increased, c-reactive protein increased, haematocrit decreased, haemoglobin decreased, interstitial lung disease, staphylococcal sepsis, white blood cell count decreased. Ancaron dosage: 100 MG 2X PER 1 DAY ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with DIGOXIN, VASOLAN, MEXITIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood calcium increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, cardiogenic shock, gamma-glutamyltransferase increased, pancreatitis acute. Ancaron dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PERSANTIN, OMEPRAZOLE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Ancaron dosage: 100 MG 2X PER 1 DAY ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with PIMENOL. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, blood bicarbonate increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, blood ph decreased, c-reactive protein increased, cardiac failure, cell marker increased, condition aggravated, disseminated intravascular coagulation. Ancaron dosage: 100 MG 2X PER 1 DAY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with BAYASPIRINA, LASIX, DILTIAZEM HYDROCHLORIDE, WARFARIN, FAMOTIDINE, GLYBURIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
