Anagrelide Side Effects Report #5574013-0
Anagrelide side effect was reported by a Physician from GERMANY on Dec 11, 2007. Female patient, 73 years of age, was diagnosed with essential thrombocythaemia and was treated with Anagrelide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: interstitial lung disease, pulmonary embolism What is  pulmonary embolism, pulmonary fibrosis What is  pulmonary fibrosis, renal impairment. Anagrelide dosage: 2.5 MG DAILY, ORAL, 2.5 MG DAILY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with BUSULFAN, HYDROXYUREA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 11/03/2006.

Anagrelide dosage: 2.5 MG DAILY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with BUSULFAN, HYDROXYUREA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 11/03/2006.

During the same period patient was treated with ETOPOSIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: fungal infection What is  fungal infection, hyperglycaemia, interstitial lung disease, oedema peripheral, opportunistic infection, pneumonia aspiration, pneumonitis, pulmonary alveolar haemorrhage. Anagrelide dosage: 0.5 MG; 3 TIMES A DAY. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, HYDROXYCARBAMIDE, DALTEPARIN, CLOPIDOGREL, ASPIRIN, RAMIPRIL, METOPROLOL TARTRATE, SIMVASTATIN. Patient died.
