Anagrelide side effect was reported by a Physician from on Jan 27, 2005. Male patient, 75 years of age, weighting 191.8 lb, was diagnosed with thrombocythaemia and was treated with Anagrelide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, abdominal pain , constipation , diabetes mellitus inadequate control, gamma-glutamyltransferase increased, haemoglobin decreased, platelet count increased, vomiting. Anagrelide dosage: 0.5 MG, 3X/DAY:TID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with VALPROATE, METFORMIN, GLIMEPIRIDE, COVERSYL, SERENOA REPENS, KARDEGIC. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal compartment syndrome, abdominal distension, arterial rupture, cerebrovascular accident, dysplasia, myocardial infarction, peritoneal haemorrhage, renal artery fibromuscular dysplasia, shock haemorrhagic. Anagrelide dosage: unknown. Patient died on 08/30/2006.
