Anafranil side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from ITALY on Nov 29, 2006. Female patient, 83 years of age, was diagnosed with depression  and was treated with Anafranil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: c-reactive protein increased, carbohydrate antigen 15-3 increased, confusional state, disorientation, echography abnormal, electroencephalogram abnormal, fall , hyperthermia, hypokalaemia. Anafranil dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DITROPAN, ZOLOFT, FEMARA, LIPANOR, TANAKAN, ESOMEPRAZOLE MAGNESIUM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Anafranil side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on May 19, 2005. Male patient, 62 years of age, was diagnosed with depression , convulsion and was treated with Anafranil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asterixis, cerebral infarction, depressed level of consciousness, dizziness , fall , speech disorder. Anafranil dosage: 160MG, DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with TEGRETOL, LEXOTAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
