Anafranil side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Apr 28, 2005. Female patient, 36 years of age, was diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder  and was treated with Anafranil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anxiety , appetite disorder, asthenia, dehydroepiandrosterone increased, dizziness , hirsutism, hyperphagia, hypothalamo-pituitary disorders. Anafranil dosage: 25-37.5 MG, Q D, PO. During the same period patient was treated with ZOLOFT, TRAZODONE, AMYTRIPTYLINE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood chloride decreased, blood uric acid decreased, chills, dizziness , inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion, mental impairment, tremor. Anafranil dosage: 75 MG QD, PO. During the same period patient was treated with LIMETHASONE, LOXONIN, LUDIOMIL, PREDNISOLONE, RIDAURA, ROCALTROL, SELBEX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asterixis, cerebral infarction, depressed level of consciousness, dizziness , fall , speech disorder. Anafranil dosage: 160MG, DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with TEGRETOL, LEXOTAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Anafranil dosage: 25 MG, Q D. During the same period patient was treated with ATACAND. Patient recovered.
