Anafranil side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from ITALY on Nov 29, 2006. Female patient, 83 years of age, was diagnosed with depression  and was treated with Anafranil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: c-reactive protein increased, carbohydrate antigen 15-3 increased, confusional state, disorientation, echography abnormal, electroencephalogram abnormal, fall , hyperthermia, hypokalaemia. Anafranil dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DITROPAN, ZOLOFT, FEMARA, LIPANOR, TANAKAN, ESOMEPRAZOLE MAGNESIUM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, anxiety , body temperature increased, confusional state, hyperhidrosis, hyperthermia malignant, hypotonia, myoclonus, tremor. Anafranil dosage: 125 MG QD. During the same period patient was treated with THERALENE, FLECAINE, NICARDIPINE. Patient died on 09/01/2004.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: confusional state, inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion, major depression, mutism. Anafranil dosage: 125 MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with FLECAINE, FORLAX, LORAZEPAM, VITAMIN B, GLUCOPHAGE, KARDEGIC, SOLIAN, ZESTRIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anxiety , cardio-respiratory arrest, confusional state, dyspnoea, pneumonia . Anafranil dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ACETAMINOPHEN, PROPOXYPHENE, DIPHENDRAMINE. Patient died.
