Anafranil side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Apr 15, 2005. Female patient, 31 years of age, was diagnosed with overdose and was treated with Anafranil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: coma, decubitus ulcer, ileus, intentional misuse, intestinal obstruction, mass, pneumonia aspiration, refusal of treatment by patient. Anafranil dosage: 1400 MG ONE TIME. During the same period patient was treated with PHENOBARBITAL, CHLORPROMAZINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood alcohol increased, blood lactic acid increased, coma, electrocardiogram qrs complex shortened, hypotension, miosis, oculocephalogyric reflex absent.
