Anafranil side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Jan 20, 2005. Female patient, 78 years of age, was diagnosed with depression What is  depression and was treated with Anafranil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, anxiety What is  anxiety, body temperature increased, confusional state, hyperhidrosis, hyperthermia malignant, hypotonia, myoclonus, tremor. Anafranil dosage: 125 MG QD. During the same period patient was treated with THERALENE, FLECAINE, NICARDIPINE. Patient died on 09/01/2004.

Male patient, 23 years of age, weighting 163.1 lb, was diagnosed with depression What is  depression and was treated with Anafranil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: body temperature increased, cardio-respiratory arrest, convulsion, hyperpyrexia, psychomotor hyperactivity. Anafranil dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LUDIOMIL, TRYPTANOL, AMOXAPINE, TOLEDOMIN. Patient died on 12/03/2002.
