Anafranil side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on May 19, 2005. Female patient, 39 years of age, was diagnosed with overdose and was treated with Anafranil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood pressure decreased, depressed level of consciousness, prothrombin time prolonged, suicide attempt, therapeutic agent toxicity. Anafranil dosage: 250MG, ONE TIME. During the same period patient was treated with SILECE, LENDORM, CERCINE, CONTOMIN, LEXOTAN, PURSENNID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure decreased, brain oedema, convulsion, disseminated intravascular coagulation, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, heat stroke, loss of consciousness, multi-organ failure, muscle spasms.
