Ampicillin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from GERMANY on Dec 22, 2008. Female patient was diagnosed with pneumonia What is  pneumonia and was treated with Ampicillin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chills, hypertension, pyrexia, tachycardia, tremor. Ampicillin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with BISOPROLOL FUMARATE, CLINDAMYCIN, ESOMEPRAZOLE, GENTAMYCIN SULPHATE, JODID, METOCLOPRAMIDE HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, weighting 20.72 lb, was diagnosed with blood culture positive and was treated with Ampicillin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure, hypotension, myocarditis, pain What is  pain, stevens-johnson syndrome, tachycardia, tachypnoea. Ampicillin dosage: 500MG Q6H IV. Patient died on 02/12/2007.
