Ampicillin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on July 25, 2005. Female patient, 23 years of age, was diagnosed with juvenile arthritis and was treated with Ampicillin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: epstein-barr virus infection, rash maculo-papular. Ampicillin dosage: 7 DAYS INTERRUPTED, RECHALLENGE 100 MG 39 DAYS, 2ND RECHALLENGE 90 DAYS, 3RD RECHALLENGE 165 DAYS.. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 62 years of age, weighting 103.0 lb, was diagnosed with infection What is  infection and was treated with Ampicillin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: pallor, pruritus, rash maculo-papular, rash morbilliform. Ampicillin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CEFTRIAXONE, ALLOPURINOL, BACLOFEN, CLOPIDOGREL BISULPHATE, COLCHICINE, FELODIPINE, IBUPROFEN, OMEPRAZOLE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
