Ampicillin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on May 23, 2008. Female patient, 77 years of age, weighting 147.7 lb, was diagnosed with prophylaxis and was treated with Ampicillin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anoxic encephalopathy, cardio-respiratory arrest, cyanosis, dyspnoea, electromechanical dissociation, infusion related reaction, skin burning sensation, unresponsive to stimuli. Ampicillin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SIMVASTATIN, SPIRIVA, COREG, IRON SULPHATETHIAMIN COMPOUND, TRAZODONE, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, DETROL LA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 05/03/2008.
