Ampicillin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Feb 22, 2005. Female patient was diagnosed with sepsis  and was treated with Ampicillin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: air embolism, cardio-respiratory arrest, cyanosis. Ampicillin dosage: (375 MG), INTRAVENOUS. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anoxic encephalopathy, cardio-respiratory arrest, cyanosis, dyspnoea, electromechanical dissociation, infusion related reaction, skin burning sensation, unresponsive to stimuli. Ampicillin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SIMVASTATIN, SPIRIVA, COREG, IRON SULPHATETHIAMIN COMPOUND, TRAZODONE, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, DETROL LA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 05/03/2008.
