Male patient, 43 years of age, was diagnosed with septic shock, pneumonia , acute myeloid leukaemia and was treated with Amphotericin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hypernatraemia, hypokalaemia, nephrogenic diabetes insipidus, septic shock. Amphotericin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AMIKACIN SULPHATE, CEFTAZIDIME, TEICOPLANIN, IMIPENEM, IDARUBICIN, CYTOSINE ARABINOSIDE. Patient recovered.
