Amphotericin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on July 20, 2005. Female patient, 14 years of age, weighting 127.9 lb, was diagnosed with lung disorder and was treated with Amphotericin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure increased, dyspnoea, erythema, oxygen saturation decreased. Amphotericin dosage: 450 MG IV Q 24 X1. During the same period patient was treated with CASPOFUNGIN, MEROPENEM, LEVOFLOXACIN. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 17 years of age, weighting 306.4 lb, was diagnosed with fungal skin infection and was treated with Amphotericin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure increased, dyspnoea. Amphotericin dosage: 700 MG. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 48 years of age, weighting 132.0 lb, was diagnosed with fungal infection  and was treated with Amphotericin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure increased, heart rate increased, infusion related reaction, jugular vein distension, oxygen saturation decreased, respiratory distress, respiratory rate increased. Amphotericin dosage: 300 MG IV ONCE. During the same period patient was treated with CEFEPINE, MEPERIDINE, APAP, IPRATROPIUM INHALER, LEVALBUTEROL, HEPARIN, TOBRAMYCIN. Patient recovered.
