Amphetamine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Feb 13, 2008. Female patient, 54 years of age, weighting 127.0 lb, was diagnosed with disturbance in attention, nervousness, speech disorder, thinking abnormal and was treated with Amphetamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anger, asthenia, disturbance in attention, memory impairment, rash , sluggishness, social problem, thinking abnormal. Amphetamine dosage: 1 30MGTABLET TWICE A DAY TWICE A DAY= 2=60 PO. During the same period patient was treated with AMPHETAMINE SALTS, AMPHETAMINE SALTS, AMPHETAMINE SALTS. Patient recovered.

Male patient, weighting 269.8 lb, was diagnosed with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder and was treated with Amphetamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anxiety , chest discomfort, heart rate irregular, hostility, logorrhoea, mood swings, paranoia, thinking abnormal. Amphetamine dosage: 20 MG, TID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ACIPHEX, ATENOLOL, CODEINE SUL, TRIAMTERENE AND HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, LISINOPRIL, SEROQUEL, SYNTHROID, XANAX. Patient recovered.
