Amphetamine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Aug 28, 2007. Female patient, 36 years of age, was diagnosed with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder and was treated with Amphetamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: convulsion, migraine , muscle tightness, pain , suicidal ideation. Amphetamine dosage: 20 MG, BID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with CYMBALTA. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 21 years of age, was diagnosed with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder and was treated with Amphetamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arrhythmia , loss of consciousness, pain . Amphetamine dosage: unknown. Patient died on 10/22/2005.

Male patient, 54 years of age, weighting 164.9 lb, was diagnosed with anxiety , attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, bipolar disorder  and was treated with Amphetamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dyspnoea, genital lesion, genital rash, pain , pneumonia , pulmonary oedema, respiratory failure. Amphetamine dosage: 20 MG, TID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with AMPHETAMINE AND DEXTROAMPHETAMINE SALTS, AMPHETAMINE AND DEXTROAMPHETAMINE SALTS, CIALIS, CECLOR, DAYTRANA, DURAGESIC, KLONOPIN, LYRICA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
