Amlodin Side Effects Report #4544170-3
Amlodin side effect was reported by a Physician from on Oct 21, 2004. Male patient, 83 years of age, weighting 94.80 lb, was diagnosed with hypertension, subdural haemorrhage, convulsion, diabetes mellitus and was treated with Amlodin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aplasia pure red cell, blood albumin decreased, c-reactive protein increased, folate deficiency, haematocrit decreased, haemoglobin decreased, multi-organ failure, myelodysplastic syndrome, normochromic normocytic anaemia. Amlodin dosage: 5 MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with LOXONIN, ALEVIATIN, HUMULIN R, BLOPRESS, DIOVAN, DAONIL. Patient died on 11/25/2004.

Amlodin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from JAPAN on Mar 11, 2008. Male patient, 65 years of age, weighting 154.3 lb, was diagnosed with hyperlipidaemia and was treated with Amlodin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood creatinine increased, blood potassium decreased, blood sodium decreased, blood urea increased, haematocrit decreased, haemoglobin decreased, liver function test abnormal. Amlodin dosage: 5 MG. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, NORVASC, BLOPRESS, CARDENALIN, FLUVASTATIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
