Female patient, 40 years of age, was diagnosed with postpartum depression What is  postpartum depression and was treated with Amitriptyline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood ethanol increased, confusional state, electrocardiogram qrs complex prolonged, glasgow coma scale abnormal, grand mal convulsion, metabolic acidosis, mydriasis, overdose, poisoning What is  poisoning. Amitriptyline dosage: 100 X 50 MG, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with FLUOXETINE, CLOMIPRAMINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
