Female patient, 74 years of age, was diagnosed with depression  and was treated with Amitriptyline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure increased, condition aggravated, constipation , cyanosis, deep vein thrombosis , diverticular perforation, faecaloma, faeces hard, haematochezia. Amitriptyline dosage: 10 MG (TWICE DAILY). During the same period patient was treated with BENORYLATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Amitriptyline dosage: 25 MG. During the same period patient was treated with SEROQUEL, LISINOPRIL, ESTRAZOLAM, DICLOFENAC, LIPITOR, LEVAQUIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 07/21/2005.
