Amitriptline side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Dec 13, 2007. Male patient, 74 years of age, was diagnosed with depression  and was treated with Amitriptline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dizziness , hypotension. Amitriptline dosage: 25MG HS PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Amitriptline side effect was reported by a Physician from TURKEY on Nov 19, 2007. Male patient, child 4 years of age, was treated with Amitriptline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: accidental overdose, bradycardia, cardio-respiratory arrest, cardioversion, coma, grand mal convulsion, hypotension, hypoventilation, intubation. Amitriptline dosage: 70 MG/KG, ORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
