Amitriptline side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on May 16, 2007. Male patient, 32 years of age, was treated with Amitriptline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: colonic obstruction, constipation
, diarrhoea, discomfort, faecaloma, loss of consciousness, suicide attempt. Amitriptline dosage: 8X25 MG (AT ONCE), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with CARBOMIX, CHLORPROMAZINE, TRIFLUOPERAZINE, TEMAZEPAM, DORBANEX, PICOLAX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
