Male patient, 48 years of age, was diagnosed with depression  and was treated with Amitriptline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: colitis ischaemic, constipation , electrocardiogram qt prolonged, fall , head injury, headache , leukocytosis, loss of consciousness, orthostatic hypotension. Amitriptline dosage: 50 MG, QD,. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: colonic obstruction, constipation , diarrhoea, discomfort, faecaloma, loss of consciousness, suicide attempt. Amitriptline dosage: 8X25 MG (AT ONCE), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with CARBOMIX, CHLORPROMAZINE, TRIFLUOPERAZINE, TEMAZEPAM, DORBANEX, PICOLAX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
