Amitriptline side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from GREECE on Sept 03, 2007. Male patient, 48 years of age, was diagnosed with depression  and was treated with Amitriptline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: colitis ischaemic, constipation , electrocardiogram qt prolonged, fall , head injury, headache , leukocytosis, loss of consciousness, orthostatic hypotension. Amitriptline dosage: 50 MG, QD,. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
