Amitriptline side effect was reported by a Physician from TURKEY on Nov 19, 2007. Male patient, child 4 years of age, was treated with Amitriptline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: accidental overdose, bradycardia, cardio-respiratory arrest, cardioversion, coma, grand mal convulsion, hypotension, hypoventilation, intubation. Amitriptline dosage: 70 MG/KG, ORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Amitriptline side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Oct 30, 2007. Male patient, 23 years of age, was treated with Amitriptline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardio-respiratory arrest, convulsion, hyperpyrexia, muscle contracture, pulmonary congestion, pulmonary oedema. Amitriptline dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AMOXAPINE, CLOMIPRAMINE, MAPROTILINE, MILNACIPRAN. Patient died.
