Amitiza and heart rate increased Patient Reports February 10, 2012

Amitiza Side Effects Report #5378082-2
Amitiza side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on June 26, 2007. Female patient, 90 years of age, weighting 100.1 lb, was diagnosed with constipation  and was treated with Amitiza. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, dysphagia, heart rate increased, ill-defined disorder, incontinence, nausea , oral intake reduced, pneumonia , pneumonia aspiration. Amitiza dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SINEMET, COMTAN, KLONOPIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 05/16/2007.
