Female patient, 53 years of age, weighting 157.9 lb, was diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome  and was treated with Amitiza. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, blood calcium decreased, blood glucose increased, blood potassium decreased, blood sodium decreased, convulsion, dehydration, dizziness , flank pain.
