Amiloride side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED KINGDOM on May 15, 2008. Female patient was diagnosed with oedema, cardiac failure congestive, hypertension, atrial fibrillation
and was treated with Amiloride. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrioventricular block complete, blood potassium increased, blood pressure decreased, renal failure acute, syncope. Amiloride dosage: 10 MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with BISOPROLOL FUMARATE, DIGOXIN, RAMIPRIL, SPIRONOLACTONE, BUMETANIDE, GABAPENTIN, WARFARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Male patient, 57 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension, laryngeal cancer and was treated with Amiloride. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hyperkalaemia, renal failure acute. Amiloride dosage: 5 MG BID PO. During the same period patient was treated with CISPLATIN. Patient recovered.
