Amikin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED KINGDOM on June 12, 2006. Male patient, 13 years of age, weighting 81.57 lb, was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis and was treated with Amikin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hearing impaired. Amikin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AMIKACIN SULPHATE, RIFAMPICIN, ETHAMBUTOL HYDROCHLORIDE, CLARITHROMYCIN, VITAMIN E, MENADIOL, ALBUTEROL SPIROS, SERETIDE. Patient recovered.
