Male patient, 26 years of age, was diagnosed with tuberculosis What is  tuberculosis and was treated with Amikacin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hearing impaired, renal failure. Amikacin dosage: unknown. Patient died.

Female patient, 62 years of age, weighting 130.1 lb, was diagnosed with mycobacterium chelonei infection and was treated with Amikacin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chills, dermatitis allergic, hearing impaired, pyrexia. Amikacin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CEFOXITIN, BIAXIN, PRIMAXIN, CALCIUM GLUCONATE, NEXIUM, COMBIVENT, ESTROPIPATE, PROMETRIUM. Patient recovered.
