Amikacin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from AUSTRALIA on Mar 13, 2008. Female patient, 29 years of age, was diagnosed with infection  and was treated with Amikacin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, dizziness , dyspnoea, hypersensitivity, hypotension, oxygen saturation decreased, paraesthesia. Amikacin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MERREM, SPORANOX, PARIET, RESPRIMTE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dyspnoea, hepatomegaly, musculoskeletal stiffness, pneumonia , respiratory failure, splenomegaly. Amikacin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CLARITHROMYCIN, CLINDAMYCIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
