Amifostine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Aug 29, 2006. Male patient, 81 years of age, weighting 169.8 lb, was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer, gastrooesophageal reflux disease and was treated with Amifostine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: angina pectoris, malaise, pyrexia, rash erythematous. Amifostine dosage: 500MG WEEKLY IVPB. During the same period patient was treated with OMEPRAZOLE, CARBOPLATIN, PACLITAXEL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: pyrexia, rash What is  rash, rash papular, rash pruritic, urinary tract infection What is  urinary tract infection. Amifostine dosage: 500MG SQ M-F. Patient recovered.
