Amifostine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on May 24, 2005. Male patient, weighting 204.6 lb, was treated with Amifostine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bundle branch block left, cardiac amyloidosis, chest pain
, dizziness
, electrocardiogram abnormal, myocardial infarction, orthostatic hypotension. Amifostine dosage: 740 MG/M2 ON DAY -2 FOR 5 MINUTES. During the same period patient was treated with MELPHALAN, ALLEGRA, AMITRIPTYLINE, ANUSOL HC, COLACE, COMPZINE, FLONASE, DYHYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE. Patient recovered.
