Female patient, weighting 108.2 lb, was diagnosed with amyloidosis and was treated with Amifostine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: nausea , neutrophil count abnormal, oesophagitis, renal failure acute, white blood cell disorder. Amifostine dosage: 2040 MG. During the same period patient was treated with MELPHALAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
